(I know this sounds simple, but he did not simply press play on a list that I generated, but he found the exact versions of songs I wanted, and even mixed one into the next if the song was rather long) This kept all guests on the dance floor the entire time, which just made for a GREAT party. For the cost, he was worth every single penny...and I might add his pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable. “I had a great deal of confidence choosing AJ as our DJ because of the recommendations I had received from several friends. When my fiance and I met with AJ the first time, we quickly understood why he was so well liked! He was professional, put us at ease immediately, and wasn't "cheesy." He had a very helpful tool on his website that allowed us to pick Must Play, Play If Possible, and Do Not Play songs for our wedding. He even had song suggestions for different reception events that helped us when we were trying to come up with ideas. AJ was very organized, flexible, responsive, professional, and on top of everything for our reception. We were running behind on time when we arrived at the reception, but AJ kept things moving along so we didn't miss a beat. He made sure everyone's names were pronounced correctly (something that has been messed up at many other receptions I've attended!), and he really created great energy to start off our reception. He was never self-promoting either. Some weddings I've been to have had DJs who seem to be there more to promote themselves than to create a party, but AJ was the opposite - he was so professional and never pushy and really created a fun party atmosphere that lasted all night! Once the dancing started, the dance floor was never empty - literally! For 2 full hours, we wanted to be dancing, and AJ provided a variety of music from all genres that kept people moving, laughing, smiling, and having a great time. “AJ was fabulous at my wedding. We were a mixed group (I’m Indian and my fiancé is not) and he was the perfect DJ for the diverse crowd. The reason I picked AJ was that I was hesitant to go with a big company where some DJ would be assigned – I wanted to work with one person who would be the DJ on the final day. And I wanted that at an affordable price. AJ fit that bill. Also he has the best online wedding event planning system, which you can send out to your friends and have them pick their requests ahead of time as well as enter time lines, bridal party names etc. It’s incredibly user friendly and was very necessary for us since my husband and I lived in different cities before we got married.

At the wedding, AJ was phenomenal. To begin with, he put in extra effort to ensure he said everybody’s names correctly during the introductions (some of those Indian names get complicated!). He was able to read the crowd well and mixed contemporary songs well with some older songs and Indian songs. He was interactive with audience, but wasn’t too talkative. Everybody had a wonderful time and a few of my friends who are getting married in the Baltimore area have said that they will definitely have him as their DJ. Overall, he was a perfect choice for us.”

Unlike other DJs that we interviewed, the website allowed us to provide songs 24X7 from the date of our contract. We were able to completely personalize our wedding by picking our music from beginning to end and the website allowed our guests to participate as well thru song selections while we still maintained control. From the beginning, if we had any questions, AJ was very nice and responsive to us, always getting back to us within a day. He was very familiar with our venue and had equipment that we could use both outdoors for our ceremony and indoors for the party that followed. On the day of the event, everyone had an incredible time. AJ Productions was able to accommodate a song list spanning 60+ years of music and many people told us how much they loved the music and LOVED our DJ. We went to a friends wedding and AJ was the dj there, thats when we knew. AJ is very professional and very good at what he does.
